Early Season Camps

The Early Season Camps are an inexpensive way for your little ones to get a head start on the winter season ahead. These programs run 3 consecutive Saturday’s or Sunday’s.

Start dates and times

1hr & 2hr programs start at 10am or 1pm
Full day programs start at 10am (with 1hr supervised lunch*)

  • Camp #1 = Saturdays – November 25th, December 2nd, 9th 2017
  • Camp #2 = Sundays – November 26th, December 3nd, 10th 2017
1 Hour (3 & 4yr olds) $69.00
2 Hour (5yr olds) $89.00
Full Day (6yrs +) instruction and a supervised lunch $139.00 without lift ticket
$179.00 including lift tickets

*Kids must provide their own lunch for full day program.

Cancellation Policy

Payment is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made outside 24 hours of the lesson start time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 24 hours and 1 hour ahead of the lesson start time will be charged a 25% admin fee. Cancellations made less than an hour before the lesson start or lesson no-shows will be automatically be charged 50% of the lesson price. Due to any extreme weather conditions where lessons will be cancelled by the Snow School, we will issue a credit to use at the Snow School to the value of the lesson price cancelled

Extreme weather temperature and road conditions at Mt Norquay must be below 20 Degrees Celsius at lesson time in order for the lesson to be cancelled by Norquay. If driving is classified unsafe on the following websites or RCMP are not advising driving, refunds or weather checks will be given out.

Can ski unassisted in the beginner area
Can Turn both ways through obstacles
Can demonstrate turn to stop 1 way
Learn to load a chair lift and ski green runs

Level 2

Can load on/off a Chair with assistance
Ski green runs in a snowplow
Gain more confidence on green runs
Learn to ski Parallel

Level 3

Load on/off Chairlift with or without assistance
Starting to match skis at the end of the turn on green runs
Can ski varied terrain on a green run
Introduce blue runs

Level 4

Introduce to blue terrain
Snow plow or parallel
Ski varied terrain on blue runs

Level 5

Introduce to groomed black runs and bumps
Introduction to rhythm and timing

Level 6

Looking to gain more confidence on black runs and bumps
Introduced to un-groomed steep terrain
